Website hosting with Newcastle Infotech is a 'one size fits all' solution. There are no fixed limits on what we allow our clients to use because in the years since 2000 when we started hosting websites we've not had anyone use more than about 1.5GB (1500mb) of space on our servers. If you are concerned about exact figures this is the 'reasonable use' that we expect the majority of people to abide by. Also, since we generally build all of the websites we host we know roughly how big they will be and try to be efficient in design anyway so that pages load fairly quickly.
The standard allocation of server resources or $144/year AUD inc GST is:
2.5GB of disk space
50GB of data transfer (sum total of up and download)
FTP transfer is not metered
As many MySQL databases as needed. MSSQL databases are available.
Linux or Windows hosting with Ruby and Perl options
Easy to use control panel
As many email accounts, forwarders, aliases and auto responders as you need.
Each email box can hold about 1GB of messages and attachments.
Access to email using POP3, IMAP or the webmail system.
The server environment supports
* PHP
* Ruby
* Perl
* MySQL
* Python
* .NET 2, 3 & 3.5
* ASP
* MS SQL 2005
* IIS 7
This is a screenshot of the webmail, nice and simple and clean design:

The webmail system is fast and easy to use. It is based on html/javascript and the attachment uploader is excellent. It works fine in IE and Firefox. Spam filtering is optional and can be controlled either for all accounts or individually.

We can also setup reseller accounts and offer discounts for multiple website accounts. For example, some of our clients have 5+ websites with us and get a very good discount for the additional sites. Bulk options are custom quoted based on requirements. The control panel and webmail system are all 'white-label' so if you want to resell our hosting you won't have to worry about our branding being seen by your users.
A happy customer... unsolicited testimonial....
Hi Jeremy,
A testimony should you choose to use it.
Thanks for your help.
In the beginning:
Almost 5 months ago I wanted to find a new host for my new business site. I previously used an overseas host in Canada but found communication difficult with the smallest problems taking at least 24 hours turn around through email. After some research on prices I found it wasn't that much different to use an Australian host so being a Novacastrian I decided to try local. After comparing many local hosts I soon came to the conclusion that Newcastle Infotech does indeed provide a lot of space for a very reasonable price.
Today:
Although I choose the harder route of building my own site I would certainly recommend the services of Newcastle Infotech. If you are considering changing hosts or starting fresh then there is no need to look further than here. Through appointments and over the phone I have found Jeremy and his staff professional and reliable. They asked a lot of questions and gave good advice on my set up and name choice. They have satisfied all my web host demands and given the reliability and blue ribbon service my clients expect. More recently my wife has chosen to trial the services of Newcastle Infotech for the above reasons.
Bottom line:
Newcastle Infotech provides a very good service at a competitive price. They are knowledgeable of their industry and prompt in service. Better still, there local and support local businesses too.
Thanks Jeremy and the Infotech team.
Warm regards,
Mr. Steve Williams.

Support for Microsoft Frontpage
Unfortunately, we do not support FrontPage Extensions. While still used on many sites, Microsoft has discontinued support for FrontPage and has replaced it with a new set of technologies.
Please see this link for additional information from Microsoft.
Also, from a web development perspective, FrontPage 2000/2003 produces code that is not even close to being standards-complaint. I’ve seen many cases where FrontPage created pages don’t even render properly in IE7 anymore. This is just something to think about… Microsoft has said that their new SharePoint Designer program will produce better code, but that remains to be seen.
