We keep a basic range of the standard parts that we need to repair computers under 10 years old. Once your computer gets past about 4 years of age it’s at that point where it is questionable whether it’s worth spending too much fixing it.

Simple problems we can fix cheaply

If you have a simple sort of failure like:

• power supply stops working
• dvd drive wont read
• hard drive is getting lots of errors or failed completely
• graphics card is giving errors or won’t initialise

These sorts of problems are not normally overly time consuming and so are worth fixing.
